this has nothing to do with the democrats, god or obama. it's supply in demand. crude oil prices are falling because because consumers and businesses have cut back on fuel spending. once the economy gets back on feet and demand increases you'll see prices go back up. this really does have nothing to do with Obama, God, or the democrats.
Anonymous #2 here, also to the either comment of the unknown poster, spectulation will drive up the price as well. Let's not make god a dem or reb he/she deserves better than that.
There's no way that demand for gas has dropped by 60% in 77 days. I'd say fear of us getting a clue and pursuing alternatives has risen by that amount.
During the last election cycle ('04), prices also dropped dramatically before November, and they rebounded astronomically once the oil men got back in office.
Amy... don't you realize that you can't make a joke like that in this country...? Or did you assume the freakshow Jesus nuts just didn't read your blog?
Amy, as part of my new year's resolution I am catching up on your blog. You have me in tears. I knew you were funny, but you must just get funnier with age.
I LOVE your comment about Obama being a dem. Can't anyone take a joke anymore? I am in shock at some of the comments on this, as well as, other quotes you post. Anyone who is offended by your sarcasm is on the wrog blog. Lighten up!
OOPS, I meant to say I LOVE your comment about God being a dem. We all know Obama is a dem. I was distracted by my son complaining of his shoelaces being too short to double knot. Oh, to be young again.

It was just a joke because the high gas prices played a big part of the election. That's all. Just weird how they rose and fell as if on demand.
Was that a pun?
