I saw Bridge to Terabithia not knowing anything about it. A box of tissues would have been nice to have.
Where the Wild Things Are will be longer than the book. ;-)
I read Twilight after seeing the movie. I liked the movie better, which is rare for me.
Fortunately many popular movies end up inspiring people to read the books.
Yeah but the quality of these movies are never going to compare to the actual books. I saw the cloudy preview, I don't think it will stand close to the book.
To steal a line from a good 80's movie, "All the good themes have been used up and made into theme parks."

Wow, these comments are a buzzkill. These are jokes, people!
It took me a while, but I finally stopped comparing the books to movies because they're different storytelling media.
Of course, not long after that I quit reading, too...
