Try a 12 year old's Christmas list! They're fun...

Thanks, bearock! And Jersey, Chris and Robin, have you tried it? It makes a "Non-Newtonian" solid. (According to my young scientist.)Pretty cool.
Drew...Christmas lists come next...

Add equal parts water(1 cup hot/1 warm) and white glue(2cups) and a 2 table spoons of Borax. Now that is a fun substance to toy with.

I love how it's written on the back of a photograph.

Not only is it a Non-Newtonian solid it is also known in the culinary world as a "slurry" and is used as a thickening agent to sauces, gravies, soups, etc. when there is no roux present. Quite a handy tool when in a rush.
