Every woman has one.

The husband voice. (Or boyfriend voice. Whatever.) It’s the voice she uses to quote her husband when talking to her friends. It is usually used when she feels he is wrong, being annoying, being irresponsible or asking questions to which the answers have already been explained many, many times.
I'm not saying it's right, I'm just saying it is.

My goodness, you are so right! I still hear that voice in my head of my ex wife speaking my name to others. It's a real life night mare! Nice blog. Feel free to post your viewpoint on our blog any time.

I tend to think that way about the "Dad" voice, and generally it hits me when I'm doing something with tools or something that might require a level (whatever that might be).

(For illustrative purposes, Dad voice is deeper than most normal voices)

* Not that way.

* You, uh, planning on hammering in that screw, are ya?

* You've never used a saw of any kind have you?

* You're all thumbs, ya know. Whoops, well, now you're a thumb down.

And at a certain point in a marriage, the word "honey" can be translated as "asshole".
